Water Home to Water focuses upon the rich and diverse sonic attributes of liquids and their contrasting relationship with “drier” sounds. Spatialization of these sounds is utilized to envelop the listener in multiple dimensions, with various forms and sizes of sonic images. This results in a fluctuating sonic space that ranges from natural ambience to more fantastical, processed, artificial forms of space. The title comes from the poem “From the Rain Forest Down” by Richard Hugo.
